Yesterday was such a blast of a work day. It was one of those times when I thought “I’m getting paid for today? Seriously?”

One cool (small) part of my job is going to health fairs. Normally, I talk to people about mental health, but yesterday was different because everyone involved brought a healthy snack to share with the employees, so I got to talk about food!

My colleague, Mike, made a fantastic Indian dish that was a huge hit. But we all know that homegirl isn’t allowed in skilled in the kitchen setting, but that doesn’t mean I’m a stranger to healthy snacks.

Enter: my two of my all time favorite companies!

My table was stocked with the best of the best, and the NASA people were psyched about it! Like, so psyched, that not one thing was left by the end of the event. (Cory was actually a little upset that I came home empty handed! He’s been wanted to try the Chobani Flip, and he loves some Love Grown Hot Oats)

I loved spending a few hours talking about my favorite products and telling people how genuinely kind these companies are. People were quite impressed! Several people asked if I worked for Chobani and/or Love Grown – my answer was I WISH!

A few weeks ago, at work, we had a little “ice breaker” activity in one of our big team meetings. We had to create our favorite brand out of play-doh. (Whatever that means.) I immediately decided on Love Grown Foods since they’re just awesome.

I was explaining to my co-workers why Love Grown was such a cool company, and everyone was intrigued! I ended up winning a Starbucks gift card out of the whole ordeal. Not bad, right? But that’s not all! I posted the picture to the Love Grown Facebook page, and they told me they would send me coupons for some free granola!

And then, they far exceeded expectations. They sent me two HUGE boxes of samples. There was seriously probably 100 mini bags of granola, plus big bags of each flavor, a t-shirt, a notebook, stickers, and tons of coupons! I was like a granola fairy, running around work, passing out bags of granola.

As if I didn’t already LOVE them, I just couldn’t stop smiling 

I’ve been eating this granola non-stop for the past couple of days. I have a bag in my desk drawer, and I’m pretty sure I eat a handful of it every 7 minutes.

Obviously, there are plenty of normal things you can do with granola. But I wanted to glam it up a bit… so I decided to play around with it. And add chocolate, because you really can’t go wrong when you add chocolate.

Prepare yourself for some addictive snacking.

Chocolate Granola Bark

• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup granola (I used Love Grown Cocoa Goodness Granola)
• 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
• 1/8 tsp sea salt (do NOT leave this out!)

Sensational gluten-free granola!

“Granola is kind of my thing. It’s always been something that I can’t seem to get enough of. I remember being a little girl, walking through the bulk isle of our grocery store, admiring all the different kinds of granola.
