I had the honor of serving up the moms of Stroller Strides-Highlands a LOVE GROWN BREAKFAST after their morning training. These moms, lead by their INCREDIBLE (and extremely bubbly and energetic) instructor, Sarah, are in the midst of training. Inspired by the book RUN LIKE A MOTHER, Sarah rallied a group of women to meet on a weekly basis to up their miles and run a 5K.

These amazing women don’t let the cold stop them. The morning I showed up it was around 30* out, but despite the fridged weather they were still running, sprinting, and getting their legs moving! (Totally impressive and definitely inspirational!)
HIGHLANDS MAMAS: WE LOVE YOU!!

Socializing with some LOVE
These moms will be running the Jingle Bell 5K (one of our events on our page) in December! YOU GO MOMS!

One of our biggest fans!
The Highlands Ranch Community Association puts on some of the BEST runs all through Spring, Summer, and Fall. They offer great events for the whole family! Today was their final race for the season–their second annual Backcountry Wilderness 1/2 Marathon. It was a chilly morning, but the sky was crystal clear and the sun was shining. Lots of runners from all over the Front Range showed up to run these single-track trails winding through the Backcountry Wilderness of Highlands Ranch.

Stoked on the LOVE

Epic Day!
Alex and I have been working around the clock on moving into our *new* kitchen space! We finally are settling in and had to celebrate with our team! In addition to celebrating the STELLAR new space, we also celebrated bringing on our newest teammember: Jason! We couldn’t be more stoked! We served up pizza, salad, 90 Shilling and champaign in celebration of all the EPICNESS that is to come in the world of Love Grown Foods!

Sitting around our convertible ping-pong table eating pizza, salad and enjoying some local brew!

Roundup River Ranch enriches the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses by providing free, year-round camping experiences with appropriate medical care that are fun, safe and empowering. The camp is a provisional member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, founded in 1988 by Paul Newman and is now the largest family of camps worldwide for children with serious illnesses.
We were thrilled to be a part of this event. It was held at Fuel Cafe in the TAXI on the edge of the RiNo art district–which is such an AWESOME restaurant in a SWEET location!

The fundraiser benefitted Roundup Ranch–which is currently under construction and expanding all the great things offered to campers. It was a great success full of stellar people, delicious food, and great music by the Wendy Woo Band.
I highly recommend that you check out Fuel Cafe and DEFINITELY learn more about Roundup River Ranch and the incredible opportunities that they offer kids and their families!

Push-Up Competition to win some bags of LOVE
It was the perfect fall day and I had the pleasure of joining the Stroller Strides moms of City Park for a great workout and the chance to enjoy some time with their awesome kiddos! This young, vibrant mommas were a blast! We mixed cardio with strength training–the perfect combination to stay healthy and fit (especially for these moms who are chasing their little ones)!

Loving the LOVE
After the workout I served up these great moms and their kids some LOVE GROWN GOODNESS! Three of the little boys were a riot–I could have made a commercial from them. They were so stoked on the LOVE (and so cute)!
